My main resources I am using to study for the JLPT N2 are the 新完全マスター N2 series. I am using the 文法 (grammar), 語彙 (vocabulary), and 読解 (reading) textbooks. I have also used the N3 読解 last year.
These are very dense textbooks and not easy to get through, but I feel that the information is very helpful and the density helps me retain the information a bit better than the others. I have to work a lot harder for these books, but I think it provides greater rewards. They also provide a lot of useful charts such comparing similar grammar points or words . The N2 books have zero English, but provide furigana, so the explanations can be really difficult to understand sometimes.
I have also used both 総まとめ N3 and the Try!vN2 series as well which I think provide a good introduction before tackling these books. My recommendation is to start with an easier book for grammar or reading before jumping in Kanzen Master because the all Japanese explanations can be a lot to process at first.
That being said, I am also using a couple other textbook resources, Anki and Quizlet, Youtube, and the internet to supplement my studying as well. But the Kanzen Master are my main bread and butter textbooks. I think switching back and forth is not as helpful for me. It is better to stick to one textbook, finish, and then move on to another one.
